An interesting question, one where I am more than open to suggestions
Sure isn’t it my dream, to write hard so as to make you and yours feel a part of my team
I write a poem for you, your personality gets added to an all too invigorating slew of words
An absurd concoction, somehow I don’t think so
As time passes us by an unsuspecting eye or two, maybe a few more get to watch our literary show, come knocking on your front door, wondering how you made it inside a book
Tell them this, that it took a little time, you answering ten questions before landing yourself smack, bang at the centre of my rhyme
poetart, at first a seemingly silly suggestion put forth by my father, a creative accountant with time to burn, looking to steer clear of numbers for a while, learn a little more courtesy of his younger son’s deft left hand
