Poetry/Art Collaboration with Eamonn Moussally

This is the first piece of art to match with a poem of mine in what will hopefully become a line of twelve poems and pieces of art joined together and created from January through December next year by myself and Eamonn Moussally. Great start, I definitely think. Here’s the poem and the piece placed together, one atop the other. Enjoy:

‘Smokescreens At Dawn’

Watching you blow smoke-rings naked is the most amazing thing I’ve ever seen
Puts a spin on unhealthy because I could breathe all of it in

Every single last wisp til stripping myself to the bones of my very own unrequited existence

Shall we dance amidst these plumes of harsher than reality…

Where you’re pinkened nipple permits me all kinds of bohemian dreams
