It’s like silk this landmark of ours, certainly sets sparks a-flying one way or another
I’d be lying if I told you that I haven’t ever seen anything like it before
Because I have, just minus you right by my side
Now, hold my hand and slide oh so carefully with me
Because these winds are thunderous and Mount Everest has an ungodly way of pushing you into a corner, none too subtly whispering a bitter word in your equally bitter ear
Fear not for we will always have our hearts in place, no race whatsoever, just snail-pace right about now
Look in my eyes and tell me that it will be alright, that everything begins to make a whole lot more sense?
It will, one time or another… perhaps maybe when our souls are a little less drenched by these snows of time
As I say, Hold My Hand!
