Her legs were tracked in varicose veins
Her loose smile having to force itself back upon her crumbled face all over again
A flailed mind harshly placed on constant albeit failing rewind – the dementia managing to somehow mention anything and absolutely nothing at once
Floundering, a boned-out body ricocheting about these stick-thin walls of her own seriously restricted accord
She falls and it is oh so very memorable, the sole reason why I am still here
Waiting for fate to attempt to play a decent card just this one time perhaps – a lapse in its own harrowing, downright bedraggled right
We’ve been peeling these aforementioned walls, feeling it all
Up the livelong night ’til some kind of silence can lend us its rather caring hand
