He scribbled down his thoughts in his trusty notepad
An A4 with a greener than green cover
Jotting down what ever came to mind
This and that
Sometimes a quick note detailing his latest in a long line of lovers
She was nineteen
He thirty-three
She loved to dance with her best friend Erika
Whereas he felt utterly lost at sea
Sticking nearby, dreaming of a trip to South America
They visited in the summer of ‘08
He wined and dined her ‘til their heads hit the pillow
Staying in the most comfortable hotel room where they needn’t wait
They could order whatever they liked
Heck even the Jell-O
