She was the most beautiful cancer patient in the world
Her hair was beautiful
But she lost all of that
Just before her winning smile went about turning itself upside down
For oh so long all we ever got to see was that constant frown
What her religious mother liked to call her beauty paying for its sins
But the real beauty, the beauty within
Went about turning that smile the right way round again
Over time making her foolish mother ever so proud
The battle was won
And now she sits in her garden more beautiful than before
With handsome men creating a line all the way up to her front door
Real men now though
Handsome within
