I can’t ever explain to anyone what the ocd does to us people. It’s beyond description, beyond… the beyond. It is utterly akin to having your mind taken to a complete and utter level of mental pain so outlandishly agonised and constant that you probably would be better off dead. Except for the fact that you are stuck thinking AND BELIEVING that you NEED to settle these intrusive thoughts down to a murmur or else… It’s the truth. The only way around it, or through it? It’s always gonna be the same for any single sufferer. But the actual comparison to something possibly akin to it?! 🤔 Like having your brain and, therefore, mind UTTERLY frayed and damaged beyond repair and at the seams and dragged up-and-down, up-and-down, in-and-out… IN-AND-OUT of a tank of water ALL DAY LONG. Your brain isn’t even breathing, really, it much too busy trying to find its necessary balance. OCD is THE most mentally debilitating illness of the mind in the world, that surely cannot be questioned anymore. I mean, find me a disorder that can cause a single person more mental anguish and, well… you surely cannot, can you?!! And if you can well, then, please-God give that particular person ALL of the strength of understanding in the world that they need, and the time too… and, also, ALL of the correct medication they may just end up needing. Do EVERYTHING TO HELP THEM feel better in their mind. And I mean… E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G(!!!!!)
