It’s another whole shake-up and you go again. Get all of that last literary stuff out of your system and let the scribbles… sit. Just. Like. That. Whilst also… and at your own pace figuring a new set or rules to really bring the words to LIFE. That’s the aim. The vision for me: to somehow get to a point wherein the scribbles will be utterly interactive with people and not just the people who read it. It’s another task that of course I am happy to have a go off of. Why wouldn’t I? It’s my favourite thing in the world, to figure something out from absolutely nothing. I’ve been doing it these past ten years so how could you break a habit anyhow 🤷‍♂️ Like, each time, being given a gun with no bullets and, yet, somehow you do believe that you can… fashion together your own workable ammunition. You put it out there, you don’t and you absolutely do care about it. That’s just your own unique approach and mindset with it. The titles will definitely start to come at me fast and ferocious again. That’s just… unstoppable for its intriguing worth. Entirely different titles, too. But… a part of me also wants for that not to happen just yet. Not right away. The exhibition at Grey Heron. It is scattered… because, yeah, my scribbles are kinda like that, although I do see it actually as… an Utterly organised and preordained scatter-crashing of creativity. How else might it look if you try and take words off of the page?! Weird is how it will land. Where it comes from? The need to create something. I know exactly where it comes from and exactly how to dip into it again when called for. This is scribbles for me… and no more. All I want is to enjoy it, but to also enjoy the mindset and interpretation of things it gives me. Wide open and willing to listen and really not seeing a fail as any kind of fail until the game is up. The game’s just started. But this particular strength of game and the ‘rules’ which seem to come with it has to be learned… like crazy. Hard fought but ultimately… you’d hope well worth it
