The poems weren’t really supposed to represent anything as such, weren’t written with any real message in mind. They were written to keep my mind as close to okay with having OCD as I could manage. So, yeah, that’s thousands of poems, mainly based around a rhyme structure which only, maybe, I can truly see because I wasn’t able to think in any sort of a focused enough manner to write… normal stuff. So, the scribbles were like my lasso at trying to fix my broken mind to something which could maybe keep me safe on a mental note. But now… I want to write at my own pace, as I’ve learnt so much from the past ten or so years of scribbling. Lots of it won’t make total sense and perhaps that can go down, after all, as a representation of just how ******* distorted my brain became, and still can become. There are many plans in place in terms of ways to make all of these scribbles work themselves out… in different ways for themselves eventually. But I have to just… rest now and let my brain relax. Please just know, that zero part of me wants for this illness to be there. I just wanna be able to work, and play, and do all that I can do with my life and time ❤️
