Met up with Andrew Kingston and his lovely wife Kelly and their son Aidan today and we headed out to Orela and Shane’s in Dunmanway to mark the one year anniversary of Alison’s passing. It’s hard for me to take that in, really, but I do see that Andrew is trying to maybe piece it together for himself, to try and at least understand what happened with Ali in the end. I don’t love too much that I have a mind that has the depth of understanding maybe to know that Ali was and always will just be an amazing person, an amazing friend, sister, daughter. And that there is no real answer to any of it. I can only speak for my experience as a friend of hers, and I can’t find answers but I do think that she is okay now. And by that I simply mean that she isn’t troubled anymore. Isn’t feeling the pain of a mental… issue, which of course she had no choice over. There are many billions of brains on this planet and I wanna take each one as utterly individual. Nothing but love and wishes for Ali today and always. I think I will write something soon about her, for Andrew to have, I guess. I can’t imagine what he and his family are going through. I just wish that I could take all this stuff in minus an OCD brain, is all.
