For the OCD sufferer to try and boil the disorder for themselves all down to that glaring imbalance really is the hardest thing. It’s not impossible. I mean, it can absolutely feel impossible, but besides what it is and what it does to the sufferer and their brain, I continue on as well and as good as I can. That’s hugely significant, of course it is, even if, for a large part of it all, my mind really is still struggling. I don’t like the thoughts I get whenever I am feeling a lot better, as in all of my memories aren’t really there but rather they’re replaced with ‘memories’ of how I might have felt in my mind regarding a place I’ve been before. That’s hard, too. I mean, I can handle it, sure. But still. I mean, in many ways I’m starting from scratch, each time I start to feel better with this. And by better, I mean notably better. But there’s gotta be a common-ground of mental comfort for the sufferer even when they aren’t feeling up to scratch regarding the OCD and what it does to our minds. To get to that, it needs to be all in and all the time. And I do that, with the scribbles, with minding and walking the dogs, with looking after the house for Mom and Dad. With everything, really, because ON is my mind all of the time, really, I suppose. And that’s fine too. It’s all fine. It’s all good. It’s all… me ❤️
