I don’t think they envy each other but rather just have no real interest in delving into the other person’s medium of art. See, they’ll be far too invested and involved in their very own. So for an artist to like another artist’s art, I reckon anyhow that they don’t really carry that usual interest by observers of good art to want to know any more about the artist than the fact that he or she is who created said art. Putting all artists into one category is like putting all sports people, or accountants, or mathematicians in the same category- an utter waste of time and, what’s more, ridiculously void of meaning and a jaded generalisation. Why have I never heard someone go: “Ooooh, you’re an accountant!” While they trod back home to sit in-front of the most undeniably artistic creation out there: the television. So yeah. Art is literally everywhere, just that people are afraid of the word rather than the object of their desires. That goes for the word ‘poet’ too 😬 😧 To call me a poet feels to me, on a personal level, like calling… an astronaut an aviator. Basically, it doesn’t credit me with the wings I might deserve…… 😐 😆 😜 Not by a million miles, over the moon and back 😆
