So petrifyingly beautiful that it takes me all of the way back
To a childhood time, when everything managed to somehow make a little or a whole lot more sense
No, I do not need to readjust this particular set of eyes, just prise right from it what I can… what I will, indeed
Don’t know who you still are, or were, perhaps!?
But I will continue to sit this one out, wait and see ’til I find you all over again, entirely
So, please stay here, lavishly decorated upon these eager walls, with me
The most enticing wallflower I may ever get to see
At the very same time, just so you know, we may well begin to peel, lying here also for all and sundry to see
So, once more and for one final time, why not smile with me?
