In Galway with Shane helping out with his mural for Bewley’s Coffee at the Galway Bay Hotel. Having a good time with him as ever, doing a little bit of scribbling and a whole lot of… trying to let my mind roam. When it roams it really is very much an extremely capable thing for me, I feel anyhow. In terms of.. thought patterns and just general thoughts and just my mind doing its own damn thing. Even if it is wired on… linking something to everything so as to, I guess, feel calmer. It’s my mind and it is a good one, a caring and highly intrigued one. A mind that has no real qualms about how anything turns out because, well, it knows that that’s just how it is and even likes that spontaneity, even if spontaneity is the scariest thing in the world for it too. OCD. Hmm… undeniably… beyond description. Even beyond any viable comparison really. It’s me and that’s okay, but I try and think as normal as I can, which rarely manages to happen anyhow. I can’t just… turn it off, turn it down, or whatever my mind really needs the most with this thing. I want to… step back a bit and get to see how my real feelings are. Where they can actually truly take me. What they, yeah, ACTUALLY feel like. From A-to-Z rather than from A-to-D and C-to-P-to-Q-to-E and blah, blah, BLAH! Get me? In other words, or letters rather, utterly livid, seething distortion of thought. Because, guess what? Still in Galway, like the first line of this post says, and still… fighting with all of the might in my mind. And still… looking to give Shane the best 44th beeday I can give him tomorrow. Also Ruzer’s beeday either Thursday or Friday, so must be sure to check that with Aoife! So, yeah, happy boys here and looking very forward to the next few days with Shane. LEGEND ❤️
