A resolute girl with a perfect plan in place, to take to this life in the best way possible, poker-faced and prepared, all too willing to make mistakes
Oh, how she ran, time and time again
Pick up that pace, heaven-sent, you’ll be no-one’s living disgrace, beat away all of the begrudgers whilst remaining shoulders above
She wore golden gloves, aside from that carrying within her a heart that set itself alarmingly alight
She just knew what was right, what she would need to do
Polite but unafraid to cause a stir, frighten the life from those who don’t count, amount to nothing
You see, this was one girl who really could sing
