It’s the behind the scenes stuff, the game they play to take their bodies to the next AND next level. Pain-filled, for sure, but then, they did ask for it. Or, maybe more so, their passion asked for it and they never really stood a chance. They prepare themselves just so neatly and eagerly. Make sure that everything is in perfect place. And then? Well, that’s just, as I said, the behind the scenes stuff. Now, they have to actually do the dance, follow the choreographed ritual, routine, to the exact inch of its being. That takes incredible skill and devotion and talent, too, of course. It may look elegant from an audience member’s perspective but, really, I like to compare it to.. I mean, these dancers may as well be driving a formula1car in their heads for what the movement is worth to them in particular. Added to that, the level of pulsation, often pain and certainly nonstop pace of things. Yeah. I guess it is elegant and even rather, shall we say, freeze-frame from said outsider’s view of things. However. On the inside, I can only start to imagine it, how it does feel. And THAT is precisely (and preciously) where the scribbles try to make sense of things. How someone or something, or anything, actually, ticks. Your observation technique is nonstop and that’s beyond lovely. You watch and witness it in equal measurement, and if you aren’t close to something to use to either scribble on or with? Then please excuse me if I might need to disappear for a while. All par for the course. Part of the process. It is what it is 😉 and it’s a dream I can’t stop living 😆 A dream nobody deserves more to live, truth be said
