The utter fact is that it is just an utter distorted and petrified mind. OCD. Sure, no one will ever get how mentally taxing it all can get, and neither can a sufferer of anything mental describe that enough to a loved-one. That’s just the pain part that they unfortunately have to deal with, really. And all that we can do is try and settle it down. By, as per usual, letting the imbalance be there. Ad nauseam at this stage. As nauseam always, really, when it comes to the OCD. Just did a shop for Mum there. That’s just that thing, a shop. However, what the imbalance does and owing to its heightened level of mental anxiety for the sufferer going into the shop, my mind cannot do the simple things in just picking up the stuff that Mum will have written down on the list. As if… something is missing. Truth is, it doesn’t even matter if you forget ALL THE SHOP, you just can go back and do it again, like anyone else. I mean it’s opening yourself up to a HELLuva lot of possible mistake, but that too is down to OCD probably ninety-nine percent of the time for me. But it’s the OCD imbalance that has my brain just jumping around trying to settle itself – all it is trying to do, really, is to settle a misfiring of the brain. Simple AND as complex as that, really. How many times can I say this without it making a difference to the sufferer’s life? A lot, it seems.
