I guess I also have to reconcile myself with what I have lost in my life along the way owing to the OCD. But that’s all of the harder when the OCD is still offsetting the brain and mind. So, it’s a tricky thing all in all. Watching people do their jobs while I go about my day – collect my medication, my weekly disability welfare, do my scribbles, and all a while trying to settle my OCD enough to understand how I might actually in fact be able to simply fall into one of these jobs… without the OCD derailing it all in a split second. Only I’ll get to see and feel that happening in my mind of course and at any given time. To others, as per, from the outside perspective I’ll just seem… oddly unable to adapt and learn to take things onboard for that particular job. But, trust me, it is all I have ever wanted to do – to be able to work, etc. and live around it too, to utilise my brain and mind as well as I can. I’ll never be able to truly describe how it’s gotten in the way of a million things, as well as my truest mindset and own personality’s feeling, but what I can do, as I always say, is do my very, very best to get as close to a mental balance as possible 🤞
