Ultimately you’ll come to want to write the odd idea down if it takes hold of your imagination at any given time. With the scribbles, I mean. But, so far I’ve only really been able to approach it at a million-miles-per-hour. So, yeah. What you want to do is to do it as a hobby, whichever, and to scribble away as much or as little as you might wish to do. That’s the dream for me. For sure. That and a slow interpretation with things in general. You’ll suddenly find that you never really wanted to shout the scribbles from the rooftops at all, as really it was just an exciting, over-pitched endeavour that was trying to keep your mind above-water and out of OCD territory. The writing has been very fully informed by my suffering with that particular mental condition. However… how about scribbling about much less harsh and cutthroat things? All that I’ve gone through will always be on my website courtesy of the scribbles, and for myself to be proud of, above all else. A keepsake, perhaps. But the writing isn’t everything to me. Not anymore. It was a means-to-an-end, that’s it. And the end always needs to be my dealing efficiently with living with OCD. That’s hard, so outlandishly hard, but I do know that it’s a joke, a joke that I’ve to take down as best I can and as soon as possible for myself and others close to me, too. 👊 💓
