You need to, need to, NEED TO sit with the imbalance- all of it. And to let it do what it does. It’s an imbalance and you have NO REASON whatsoever to entertain its UTTER AND USELESS falsities. That’s proving outrageously difficult for me. As I have said many a time. For all ocd sufferers. I know this above all else, and I KNOW that these people in particular are crazy kinds of smart and intelligent owing to where their particular brain has been forced by itself to go. I cannot wish it away. I cannot even entertain the idea of my intrusive thoughts anymore. To deal with it because, well, perhaps I cannot actually outright BEAT IT, then I will have to keep taking my prescribed medication, of course. I am on my fourth month of six months with my new and upped dose with Mairead O’Leary, my psychiatrist. God bless that woman for actually prescribing the correct medication for my case of ocd going forward. I’m all here and all good and very scared and hopeful. But, above all else… I’m proud as punch. Proud of what I have succeeded amidst, and certainly proud of how I am and how I try to act with it all. I am, in fact, incredibly proud of all of the ocd sufferers out there. Theirs, and mine, is a particular mammoth task of the mind which NOBODY should EVER have to deal with 😊
