I woke at three this morning and watched a couple of episodes of Break Point – a brilliant fly-on-the-wall documentary about professional tennis. Love that show. So… inspiring for me. Went back to bed and woke again at about eight and went for a long-ass run – top-pitch of the town-park, with the running track lined-out ❤️ Did about an hour overall up there and around town a bit. I’ve really upped the running level this past week with four huge runs, which feels amazing as I really do love to run, and with REM for music this morning. Class tunes ❤️ Cousin Mark asked me if I fancied heading to the city for a few beers and back down on the bus again today but I gotta bake a cheesecake for Ruadh’s 1st beeday tomorrow and also just… chill for the Saturday that’s in it, I guess, so said we’d go another time. And maybe it was a tad spontaneous for me right now, as he o ly said it last night, even though there’s no reason really not to go, and to work the cheesecake around… nah, I actually do need to do a few things. Mark’s an amazing guy, great cousin, and could become a very good friend. God, this reads like a bloody diary of a teenager with hopes and dreams and aspirations going forward… but it ain’t. It’s… notes on living as well as I can with chronic OCD 😃 Must do Box-Breathing Meditation too today, try and lock that in for myself as a routine meditation-wide. Still feeling the pinch of “what-if?!”, like something needs to be searched for and, therefore, sorted-out in my brain and mind… OR ELSE!!!! Of course, there isn’t anything else, just… the next thing that happens and your dealing with it. I keep going, keep bringing it back to me. Keep… basically doing the near impossible in truly “ssssssshing!!” the OCD imbalance. Damn, I’ve come so effing far it really is unnatural and I know Mom and Dad and Shane and Claire and everyone else, really, knows such a thing 😊
