There is a large part of you that will wanna throw yourself out there, to really go at it all – hell for leather. And then, of course, there will be the part that wants, and needs, to understand how important stepping back from it all is too. OCD is what it is, I have it and I analyze it to the death… of the death. My brain and mind fall away inside of crowds of people more often than not – that same brain and mind just too used to altogether trying to figure its very own unique way to stay calm amidst, remember, a calm that just does not exist in the first place. What the medication is for. What my family and support-system of people are for – to take me through it all as well as we can go together with this thing. I don’t want it to be about me, truly, that just isn’t the way I want it to work. Never was whatsoever. I accept the disorder, I walk and I talk and I battle back with it as best I can ever achieve, always. Sure it has given me a helluva lot also, but all in all it is an absolute fucking horrendous thing to have any one person attempting to live with. But that is what the gung-ho, shutterspeed poem pieces are all about, my mind trying to find some beauty with words in all of the mental chaos that the OCD does, and will, and can always continue to cause me. Those words are mine, from start through finish. Today? Kinsale with Shane, Phil, Ruairi, and Comsey. Looking forward to it now, truly. Onwards and upwards we go.
