If you are looking for an impossible thing to achieve for some-one then it is probably this… having had chronic ocd since the age of eleven.. til the present age of 39 years of age. Your whole brain has been utterly rewired – brutish and to the point of arguably unrestorable balance. It is, simply put, and from any outsider’s unknowing perspective, an anxiety disorder causing the sufferer to BELIEVE SOMETHING IS CATASTROPHICALLY WRONG ALL OF THE TIME and all of it owning to the aforesaid crazily suggestive imbalance of brain. The rest of it, for the sufferer to utterly BE FORCED to unwillingly partake in, is… a mind-field of utterly, utterly, UTTERLY INCORRECT interpretations. Anyhow. The impossible thing to achieve, I mentioned? What might it be? Well, simply put, to overcome all of the above nonsense of brain, even when.. it WILL attempt to scatter it all up in the air, again and again. Simple things become almost impossible, and as for the fun things ok- I think, maybe… and even without realising it, chronic ocd sufferer’s can actually forget that happiness should even be playing a part in their life. Why? Because they inevitably end up mistaking their attempt at continuously trying to calm the false negative signal SPRINTING LEFT, RIGHT, AND CENTRE within their brain for.. that actual source of happiness. Any psychologist will agree. Any sufferer will agree. They have been unwillingly self-schooled in the world of ocd. However, and this is the horrendous part in it all, too. But one part of them, let’s say their mind, UNDERSTANDS IT ALL ENTIRELY, what they need to do. Whilst their brain, however, is taken to task, henceforth discombobulating the mind. That’s akin to going into, say, an exam as an A-student only… on trying to answer all of the questions fair and correct as they can… somehow, fuck knows how(!!!), they can’t even manage to pick up the pen. Let alone grab themselves another A grade. THAT’S the Monster of ocd right there. Although, none of that can describe the pain 😀 You have to kill it, not merely cope with it. Like it never even existed in the first place because, last time I checked, it didn’t for everyone else 🤷‍♂️ This is the thing, though, it cannot remain impossible or else, well, I’m not gonna last forever with this thing, that I do know. It’s too mentally debilitating for me 😊
