You settle it down now. You take the time to breathe and be yourself- totally. You smile in the face of adversity if need be, you remain true to your real mind. That gold nugget at the core of all of this OCD stuff. Make the OCD your friend? Well. Okay… it is after all just an imbalanced brain occurring. So, really, I do suppose there is absolutely nothing negative or wrong in treating it like your friend. That part of your brain is, after all, in tremendous pain too, as well as you and your mind and as a direct hit, so why not respect it?! Respect the illness at hand. And mind, too, of course. It is a part of you, an extremely lopsided and painful part but, still, a part. So… … yeah!! You do have OCD. That is the whole wide truth of the matter. And, surely, there are few people out there, even so much as all over the world, who have, or have had, it worse. That’s the truth, too, right there. In an absolute nutshell, actually. I’m no nut, though. My brain just only ever got to grow-up in the wrong way and direction owing to said mental illness 😃 🤷‍♂️
